WHAT IS CHANGING IN THE TACHOGRAPH CALIBRATION?

TESTING THE DSRC INTERFACE

The DSRC interface is tested using a suitable test device such as a DSRC meter, which simulates the monitoring situation of the supervisory authorities by means of a radio beacon. A WorkshopTab copies the data via Bluetooth and prepares it in a clearly structured report.

TESTING THE GNSS FUNCTIONS

The test of the GNSS function examines whether the satellite recipient is working properly. You can also perform this test directly via the WorkshopTab and without additional devices. If you cannot receive a sufficiently strong signal in your auto repair shop, VDO will be abel to provide you with the GNSS Repeater Kit technology in the future to boost the satellite signal.

RESEALING OF THE KITAS 4.0

In the future, the speed sensor must be resealed. The new seals must be procured from a certified supplier and also registered with their unique identification number. The integrated WorkshopTab camera allows you to register the KITAS and new seal simply by scanning the 2D codes.
